Everyone seems to be getting sicker and sicker, and there seems to be no end in sight, so what can we do?
Well, I’m going to share what I’ve done to improve my health, and what I’ve found and what I’m about to share is most likely very unimpressive.
I’m all about going back to the fundamentals of what work, and about not stressing out about trying to get everything right.
I come from a background of strict diets, cleanses and what have you. That’s just my personality. If I’m going to do something, I’m going to do it right.
But I’ve discovered that I make much faster progress if I relax. Not only about my diet, but relax mentally as well, via meditation and other relaxation methods.
It’s about realizing, for me, that things don’t have to be so serious. We can only do what we can do and go from there.
2. Back to Basics
Like I mentioned, to me health is about going back to the fundamentals, such as:
- Eating well
- Drinking well (water and fresh juices, of course)
- Having fun
When those things are in order, you’ve pretty much done 80% of everything you can do. After that things start becoming stressful and you begin noticing diminishing returns, so you might as well stop there.
3. Listen to My Body
Finally, I’ve begun to listen to my body more.
I’m not as tied to what magazines, newspapers and “experts” say about health. Instead I like to focus on being happy, healthy and relaxed, like this site says.
It’s not always easy to resist the latest fad diet or tip, but I just listen to my body and focus on what I feel like doing right now.
I focus on doing the things most people avoid, because that’s what’s going to give me results.
So those are my three things. Hopefully you’ve gotten benefit from reading this ;-)
